Software Developer - Elgin, IL. Work on mission-critical, enterprise software requiring high availability, concurrency, heterogeneity, low latency, API connectivity, and high levels of security. Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications, creating functional and technical specifications for software based on stakeholder feedback ("stories"). Design, develop, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and resolve them. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Be part of an Agile Team. Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions, including ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#. Prepare and maintain code for various .NET applications and resolve any defects in systems. Prepare test-based applications for different .NET applications. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies. Create technical specifications and test plans. Monitor the system's everyday activities and provide required support. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improve operations by conducting system analyses and recommending changes to policies and procedures. Handle technical support calls after hours.

Work with the following: C# with .NET Framework, .NET Core (Microservices); MVC with Razor Pages; REST APIs; Swagger; HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery; SQL queries and SQL objects; SSIS Packages; Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Azure Repositories; SuiteScript, RESTlets and Suitelets; Unit tests and validating code quality; creating technical manuals; Performing analytics; process optimization and research on emerging technologies. Other similar professional duties as assigned. M-F; 40 hrs/week. $153,317.00/annum. Require Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent and 3 years' experience in the job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent and 5 years' experience in the job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
