Artwork Requirements

Artwork must be submitted in a vector-based format (preferably .EPS or .AI). All text must be outlined or font files must be included with artwork. Artwork size must be 7"W x 2"H. All artwork must be submitted using CMYK containing a maximum of 2 colors. Files should be submitted exactly per our specifications.

Labor Fees

A fee will be charged for artwork that is:

1. Incomplete artwork requiring assembly, manipulation, matching uncollected fonts or color management.
2. Low resolution or raster files requiring reproduction in a vector-based application.
3. Any changes after-the-fact requiring reprocessing of CTP files.

Custom Cover Artwork Specifications

Artwork Requirements

Send your file to BOX Partners in one of the following formats: .EPS, .AI, or .PDF. All artwork must be submitted using CMYK colors. You are able to submit it to BOX via e-mail, FTP site or by sending the file on a CD or DVD.

Layout Specifications

KEEP IMPORTANT COPY AND PHOTOS IN THE LIVE AREA (a minimum of 1/4" in from the trim size and spine). This provides a safety margin away from the trim on all four sides, including the spine. Live copy or photos exceeding this safety margin may be trimmed during binding. See specifications for submitted custom cover artwork below. Please remember the below layouts are for outside covers. For inside cover files, please invert the layout, with the front being on the left and the back on the right.
